Are you curious about ceramics? Experiment and explore during our monthly Try It! class.

Participants will get a chance to learn the basics of working with clay and handbuild their own creations! During this one-time, 3-hour class, participants will get an introduction to handbuilding techniques including pinch, coil, and slab methods. Participants will also learn about attachments, adding surface decoration, and more! Students may choose to decorate finished pieces using commercial under-glaze or choose from our selection of ^6 glazes.

This is perfect for curious beginners, those interested in learning more about our 8-week classes, or folks just looking for a fun evening of creativity!

Work will be ready for pick up 4-6 weeks after the session. All work produced in this session will be dishwasher and microwave safe.

This class is for students with little to no prior ceramics experience, all are welcome ages 16+.

Due to Covid-19, if classes become restricted during this session due to MDHHS guidelines, classes will continue but will be done by using the digital sign up tool.
