Where are you located?

We are located in the 71 Garfield building in Midtown. From Garfield street, walk down the sidewalk on the right side of the building and enter the studio through the lower set of doors at the second entrance on left.

Limited street parking is available. You may park in our building’s gated lot off of Garfield by retrieving the gate opener located in the studio lobby. (Park with hazards on Garfield while retrieving the gate opener.)

I am a ceramic artist, can i use the studio?

Yes! We have monthly studio membership for experienced artists to work independently. Please see our membership page for more information. 

how do i pickup work that i created at an event?

Pieces may be picked up at our studio during class or open studio times:
Monday-Wednesday from 6-9pm
Thursday from 3-9pm
Friday from 10am-4pm
Saturday from 10am-4pm

If you are unable to pick up your piece during open hours, please email sugarhillclaydetroit@gmail.com for assistance. 
All pieces not claimed within 8 weeks of the event date will be discarded. 

i missed a class, are there makeups or refunds?

Class tuition is non-refundable. Missed classes can be made up during open studio hours on Thursdays from 6-9pm, Saturdays from 1-4pm, or at the discretion of the instructor.
