Beyond techniques and working styles, creatives need to have a strong connection to something in order to create art. Good pottery, devoid of a connection that grows into an intention, is merely a display of technical skill. This session bridges the gap between ideas and your ability to implement them. We will identify a “why” and develop a body of work to focus on for the duration of the class. Must have previous clay knowledge; however, this is a beginner-friendly, all levels independent study where you will receive hands-on instruction in bringing your own big clay ideas to life.

Includes one 25 lb bag of clay. Bring your own basic set of tools or tools are available to share.

The instructor will send an email communication 1-2 weeks before class starts with additional details.
