Saturday early evenings from 4-7pm

Class schedule:

First 6 weeks: January 17, 24, 31 + February 7, 14, 21
NO class Feb. 28 - one week break
Last 2 weeks: March 7, 14

This class is dedicated to the entire process of teapot making. Learn to throw, trim teapots, and fit lids on the wheel. Make handles and spouts of different styles and add functional details like strainers and vents. The class will conclude with a potluck style gathering, where we will use our objects together and examine how they function. This class is intended for people who have previous experiences on the pottery wheel and can center and throw 2 lbs. of clay with little to no guidance.

Includes one 25 lb bag of clay. Bring your own set of tools or tools are available to share.

The instructor will send an email communication 1-2 weeks before class starts with additional details.
